If you are from St. Louis or the Kansas City area, you are very familiar with the flavorful grilled pork steak. Sooo yummy and easy to make, quick too!
5 Prairie Pride 1″ thick, bone in pork steaks
pinch of salt
white or black pepper to desired use
2 cups apple cider vinegar
1 1/2 cup of water
Blackberry Blaze BBQ medium Sauce, from Prairie Pride
Pre heat Grill to medium-low heat. Season the steaks with salt and pepper. Place in bowl that has the apple cider vinegar and water mixture. Let marinade for 2 hours or over night is ok too.
Place pork steaks on the grill directly over the flame for about 7 minutes on each side. Slide steaks over, so now they will cook over indirect heat for another 15 minutes or until desired doneness. They will be tender to cut with a fork. Discard the left over vinegar mix.
